KIARA 2.4 contains Firefox 8.0, Flashplayer 11, packages for wireless internet.

Kiara GNU/Linux 2.4 is now available for download. Software upgrades include Firefox 8.0, Thunderbird 8.0, flashplayer 11, and Opera 11.52.

By request, some packages have been added to enable wireless internet.

I've only used wired internet, so I'm completely dependent on wireless users to tell me what's needed to make Kiara wireless-enabled, and to test it for me. Thanks to Mark for getting me started with this important initiative.

hey, your kiara has pppoe-setup or some form to connect to pppoe broadband ? I just love kde3,it would be great if your distros has some way to connect to pppoe

KIARA GNU/Linux is a Live CD based on Slax with applications ported from Slackware, and continually upgraded to contain the very latest Web applications from Mozilla. KIARA combines the classic KDE3 desktop with an up-to-minute web experience in a live format that keeps your hard drive free for when you need to run something a little less old-school.

Besides KDE3, KIARA also contains some popular light Desktop GUI's, including FVWM, Fluxbox, and XFCE, and even some text-based applications chosen with running from the console in mind (emacs, irssi, lynx, and GNU Screen).
